KLEIB S4 is a ready-to-use acrylic joint compound for finishing and decorating works in the construction industry. Owing to its properties it is perfectly suitable for final spackling on dried cement-lime, lime or gypsum plasters, on plasterboard panels and concrete surfaces for all kinds of paint coatings. It can also be used to fill defects on the surface of walls and ceilings inside the buildings.

The working surface should be stable and structurally sound i.e. strong enough, free of any layers that may impair plaster adhesion. Excessively absorbent surfaces should be primed with KLEIB G1. In order to strengthen weaker, degraded surfaces, apply KLEIB G2 fine particle primer.

Before applying KLEIB S4 joint compound, the contents of the package should be mixed mechanically with a mixer or manually with a trowel in order to even out the consistency. If necessary, a small amount of water may be added.

Apply KLEIB S4 evenly on the substrate mechanically with an airless spray unit or manually with a stainless steel plasterer’s float while maintaining the layer thickness of 1-3 mm. The second coat can be applied after the first one has dried completely. When the second coat is dry, remove any minor unevenness with sandpaper or grinding mesh. When tightly closed, unused joint compound remains ready for use for a longer period of time. After work, wash the used tools in warm water. We recommend using a nylon paint roller.

Average consumption is approximately 1.0 kg/m2 with the thickness of 1 mm

KLEIB S4 should be stored in its original and undamaged packaging in temperatures from +5°C to +25°C. Protect against direct sunlight. The shelf life of the compound is 18 months from the date on the packaging.
