KLEIB C18 is a general-purpose plastering mortar for manual application of traditional internal and external plasters.

The substrate should be stable, structurally sound and clean, i.e. free from impurities that could impair the adhesion of the mortar. Excessively absorbent surfaces should be primed with KLEIB G1 primer before plastering.

The mortar is prepared by pouring dry mix into a container with a measured amount of water and mixing until a smooth, uniform consistency is obtained. The mortar is ready to use after 5 minutes and after remixing. Prepared mortar is to be used within approx. 5 hours.

Apply KLEIB C18 manually with a trowel on the previously made layer of rough coating. Level (remove excess) and smoothen with a straightedge, trowel smooth with a wooden or polystyrene float. The thickness of the layer should be 10-20 mm. Protect freshly plastered surfaces from drying out too quickly. Tools should be washed with water immediately after use.

Approximately 20 kg of dry mortar is used to make 1 m2 of plaster with the layer thickness of 10 mm.

The mortar must be transported and stored in tightly sealed bags, in dry conditions (preferably on pallets). The shelf life is up to 12 months from the manufacturing date on the packaging.
